FEM Swap Terms of Use
Effective date: October 12, 2026
These Terms apply to your use of the FEM Swap interface at swap.femchain.online (“FEM Swap” or the “Interface”). By using the Interface, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. “FEM,” “we,” and “our” refer to the FEM Swap project; the project should identify its responsible legal operator in the final version of these Terms.
1. What FEM Swap is
FEM Swap is a software interface for viewing token and pool information and preparing blockchain transactions. It is based on a fork of Uniswap V2, but may be modified. A V2-style automated market maker generally uses liquidity pools and smart contracts to facilitate token swaps; the contracts, supported networks, pool parameters, and fees actually used are those deployed and shown by FEM Swap, not necessarily those of Uniswap.
In the standard Uniswap V2 design, each pair contract holds reserves of two tokens and prices trades using a constant-product invariant. This description is technical background only; FEM’s pair contracts, token behavior, and any modifications must be verified before assuming they work the same way.
The Interface is not a bank, broker, exchange custodian, investment adviser, or provider of legal, tax, or financial advice. Unless the live app explicitly says otherwise, the Interface does not hold your assets or control your wallet. You remain responsible for your wallet, keys, approvals, and decisions.
2. Wallets, transactions, and fees
You need a compatible wallet and supported network to submit a transaction. Your wallet must be used to review and authorize each transaction. Transactions are generally public, may be irreversible once confirmed, and are subject to network congestion, fees, and the rules of the relevant blockchain.
A displayed quote, price, route, or estimated output can change before execution and is not a guarantee. Slippage, liquidity, token behavior, network fees, contract settings, and third-party systems may affect the final result. If FEM Swap uses a V2-style router, its swap call may enforce a minimum output and transaction deadline; check the actual transaction and settings presented by FEM Swap and your wallet. The blockchain network may charge gas even if a transaction fails.
Fees are distinct: the network charges gas; a pool may charge a trading fee; FEM may or may not charge an interface or service fee; and a protocol fee may depend on the deployed contracts and their configuration. The original Uniswap V2 pair code applies a 0.30% input fee in its swap invariant, but FEM’s fork may change this. The original factory also has a configurable protocol-fee mechanism. Neither upstream setting confirms the fees or recipients in FEM Swap. Review the app and transaction details before approving.
3. Risks
Digital assets and decentralized protocols involve substantial risk, including loss of some or all of your assets. Pool prices can move between quote and execution, and low liquidity or a large trade relative to pool reserves can materially affect the price. Smart contracts may contain vulnerabilities or behave unexpectedly; tokens may be fraudulent, restricted, or incompatible; liquidity may be limited or withdrawn; and interfaces, wallets, RPC services, or networks may be unavailable or compromised. A fork of open-source software does not establish that FEM Swap’s code or deployments have been audited or are safe.
Only interact with contracts and tokens you have independently verified. Never share a recovery phrase or private key, and do not approve a transaction you do not understand. Use FEM Swap only if you can afford the risks.
4. Your responsibilities and prohibited conduct
You are responsible for complying with applicable laws, checking that the Interface is available to you, verifying transaction details, and securing your wallet and devices. You must not use FEM Swap to violate law, exploit or disrupt the Interface or its infrastructure, interfere with another person’s access, or misrepresent your identity or transaction activity.
5. Third-party services and open-source software
FEM Swap may rely on wallets, blockchain networks, node or RPC providers, token and price data sources, and other third-party services. These services operate independently, may be unavailable or inaccurate, and have their own terms and privacy practices. Their inclusion does not mean FEM controls or endorses them.
Some underlying software may be open source and subject to separate licences. Those licences govern the applicable software and are not replaced by these Terms.
6. Availability and changes
The Interface and its features may change, be delayed, be inaccurate, or become unavailable. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Interface where permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted access, a particular token listing, quote, route, or transaction outcome.
7. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, FEM Swap is provided without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for your needs. Nothing in these Terms excludes a consumer right or liability that cannot legally be excluded. Any limitations on liability must be interpreted subject to applicable law.
8. Changes, governing law, and contact
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and effective date. The project’s legal operator and governing-law jurisdiction have not been confirmed for this draft, so it does not select a governing law or exclusive court. Applicable law and mandatory consumer protections continue to apply. For questions, contact femwallet@gmail.com.
Technical references
These original FEM terms use upstream technical documentation only as background. Uniswap’s V2 documentation and contracts describe Uniswap’s implementation; they do not verify FEM Swap’s deployed contracts, settings, fees, or legal terms. FEM Swap is a separate project, and no affiliation or endorsement is implied.
